SaharaReporters first released the names for President Buhari’s other 21 ministerial nominees, which included former Governors Rotimi Amaechi, Kayode Fayemi, and Babatunde Fashola.

It was previously reported that the National Assembly would not begin its approval or vetting process until President Buhari presented them with all nominees.

SaharaReporters can authoritatively report that President Buhari submitted 16 names in this second batch of ministerial nominees, bringing the total list to 37 nominees.

President Buhari announced this morning that he would not be the Minister for Petroleum Resources but that he would supervise that sector closely.
