Twin Bombings In Kano Phone Market Leave 15 Dead 53 Wounded

Speaking to a SaharaReporters correspondent, a spokesperson for Kano state Police command, confirmed that the twin bomb attacks on the GSM Market in Kano City left 15 dead and 53 wounded.

Our correspondent also learned that the bombings were committed by two female suicide bombers who were dropped off by 4 men driving an SUV, the bombs went off at the entrance of the market, while the other exploded inside the market. The four men currently remain at large. 

The attacks in Kano occurred less than 24 hours after another bombing in Yola left more than 30 dead and 80 injured.
