Saturday 19th March, 2016 was a spectacular date that will go down in history as a moment Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory Abuja stood still for the Mallpai Foundation as she was honoured by the Commonwealth Nigeria Awards Organisation. Mallpai Foundation was honoured for her exceptional and outstanding achievements in alleviating the suffering of the depressed in the society.
During the event held at the Sandralia Hotel in Abuja, the Director of Media and Publicity (BoT) of MALLPAI FOUNDATION, Mr McEva Temofe in his speech gave a brief introduction of the foundation, in his words; MALLPAI FOUNDATION was founded in 2009 to drive out illiteracy in the community. To build lives where people have access to quality Education, Healthcare, Business orientation, Agricultural development and equal opportunities to realize their potential.
Mallpai Foundation is committed to enhancing the quality of life of Nigerians by supporting and empowering initiatives that improve access to health, education and agriculture opportunities. He concluded his speech by appreciating all dignitaries that took their time out for the special event.
The event was taken further by a special speech by the Director of Commonwealth Nigeria Awards For Excellence, Mr Akinwalere Ayo to commend the giant strides of Her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Atiku Bagudu, wife of the Governor of Kebbi State and Founder of MALLPAI FOUNDATION in putting smiles on the faces of the less and also encourage dignitaries present at the event to emulate her and support her initiatives. He also mentioned that the Commonwealth Nigeria Awards Organisation is out to research, recognize and celebrate exemplary individuals and organisation and implore everyone with abilities to touch the lives people in the society. The Founder of MALLPAI FOUNDATION was honoured by the Commonwealth Nigeria Awards organisation with a Prestigious Award for Excellence as the Most Outstanding Female Personality of Northern Nigeria.

In her acceptance speech, Hajiya Aisha Atiku Bagudu thank the Commonwealth Nigeria Awards for the honour bestowed on her by the organisation and stated the recognition shall encourage her to do more. She further talked about the vision and goals of MALLPAI FOUNDATION, in her words; MALLPAI FOUNDATION’s vision is building lives where people have access to quality Education, Healthcare, Business orientation and equal opportunities to realize their potentials and the major goals are;
Adding values to the lives of the less privilege
Enhance community development by providing services to rural communities which lack adequate human empowerment
Improve the quality of trading; improve the quality of women and children education
Improve the quality of farming within communities
Alleviate the extreme poverty in communities across the country by encouraging education and empowerment of women
