A member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Ismail, was released today following his abduction on Tuesday according to police sources. Mr. Ismail was kidnapped from his residence early Tuesday morning according to earlier reports.
Mr. Ismail represents Tudun Wada constituency in the House and was whisked away on Tuesday morning from his residence in Abapka area.
The Police Public Relations Officer for Kaduna State, Aliyu Usman, did not confirm whether a ransom was paid for Mr. Ismail’s release or whether any of his abductors were in police custody.
