Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia and a former lawyer of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Godwin Obla, were today arraigned at an Ikeja High Court in Lagos by the anti-graft agency on a variety of corruption charges and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
They pleaded not guilty to the charges.
In addition to various counts of self-enrichment, she is unable to explain within her legitimate income, Mrs. Ofili-Ajumogobia is also accused of forgery, as well as of lying to an official of the EFCC.
