The Benue State Special Assistant on Herdsmen Matters, Alhaji Shehu Tambaya, has said sponsors of killings in parts of the state would soon be exposed.
Tambaya in an interview with our correspondent in Makurdi on Friday said it was inhuman for some people with blood running through their veins to keep snuffing lives out of their fellow humans without the slightest remorse.
"The Almighty will soon expose those behind these killings as well as their sponsors. They will surely reap the reward of their dastard acts in the hereafter and even the law of the land would catch up with them when they are exposed," he said.
The special assistant who lamented the continued killings in the state, however, appealed to the law enforcement agencies drafted to hot spots in the state to do their best to stem the tide by restoring quietness for people to return to their homes.
Tambaya also assured law abiding herdsmen to go about their businesses in the state without fear of harassment and continued to obey the anti-grazing law by ranching their animals in line with best global practice.
