American Rapper, J.Cole Thrilled By Visit To Nigeria

US rapper,J. Cole, has expressed pleasant surprise at the huge turnout for his performance at the Castle Light Unlocks Concert, which held at Eko Hotel, Lagos, on Saturday.

The multi-platinum selling artiste, who was visiting Nigeria for the first time, mounted the stage a few minutes after 2am to thunderous applause. He wore a home jersey of the Super Eagles.

Thrilled by what he saw, J. Cole said: “I guess I was f**king up by not coming to Nigeria earlier”.

He thrilled the crowd with songs such as Coleworld, Born Sinner, 2014 Forest Hills Drive and his most recent KOD album, which is burning up the charts globally.

After the concert, J.Cole, who rarely uses the social media, took to Twitter to say:“Thank you Nigeria. Love Lagos.” He also posted videos of his performance on his Instagram page, with the caption “Nigeria, SMH”

The self taught pianist and producer who has produced for Kendrick Lamar and Janet Jackson, also promised to return to Nigeria in the future.

Nigerian stars, Davido, Wizkid, M.I, Tiwa Savage and Ycee performed at the concert, which had others like Simi, Banky W, Ikechukwu Kilz among the crowd.
