Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will begin a meeting with senators elected on the party’s platform, any moment from now.
Ahmed Lawan, Majority Leader of the Senate, is expected to lead other senators to the Maitama residence of Oshiomhole, where the meeting will hold.
The gathering will review strategies of the APC caucus ahead of the possible reconvening of the National Assembly, with Oshiomhole hell-bent on seeing Saraki impeached following his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Monday night’s meeting is a follow-up on the extended version that held with President Muhammadu Buhari shortly before the President’s 10-day medical vacation to the UK.
Notable among the senators at that meeting are Abu Ibrahim, Katsina South; Kabir Garba Marafa, Zamfara Central; Lawan Ahmad, Senate Leader; Danjuma Goje, Gombe Central and Abdullahi Adamu, Nasarawa West.
Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to the President, and Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), were also in attendance.
