For the second time within one week, Professor Mahmoud Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is at a meeting with the National Assembly Committee on electoral matters.
According to a tweet via INEC's official handle, @inecnigeria, the meeting, which is ongoing, is taking place between the INEC officials and the Joint Committee on INEC and Electoral and Political Parties Matters.
The lawmakers had posponed their reconvening, earlier scheduled for Tuesday, August 14, 2018, due to the failure of INEC to hold the meeting with its committee.
