Abuja Building Collapse: Police Fire Tear Gas At Angry Relatives Protesting 'Shoddy Rescue Efforts'

The armed Policemen drafted to the site of the incident, fired the canisters at the protesting relatives and sympathisers, who accused the rescue team of doing a shoddy job.

The Police, on Saturday, fired tear gas canisters at the scene of the collapse building in Abuja to disperse an angry mob, who insisted that their relatives are still trapped under the rubbles.

The armed Policemen drafted to the site of the incident, fired the canisters at the protesting relatives and sympathisers, who accused the rescue team of doing a shoddy job.

According to them, the rescue team hurriedly left the site without evacuating any survivor or corpse.
