Jibrin: No Crack In APC Caucus Even Though We Have 'Internal Issues'

"I wish to state that there is no crack in APC caucus of the House. We have internal issues and there is nothing unusual about it. However, these issues will be resolved internally," he stated.

Abdulmumin Jibrin, member representing Bebeji/Kiru Constituency, Kano State at the Federal House of Representatives, says there is no crack within the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus of the House of Reps even though there are "internal issues"..

Media reports had emerged on Wednesday, alluding to a possible crack within the APC caucus.

There had been allegations that Femi Gbajabiamila, leader of the House; Jibrin; and Musa Adar Sarkin, the lawmaker representing Goronyo/Gada Constituency in Sokoto State, were having issues regarding the relevance of pro-Buhari groups in President Muhammadu Buhari' re-election bid.

However, Jibrin, via his Twitter handle, attempted to clarify the situation.

The post read: “Against the backdrop of media reports, I wish to state that there is no crack in APC caucus of the House. We have internal issues and there is nothing unusual about it. However, these issues will be resolved internally. We have one caucus and @femigbaja is the leader. Thank you.”
