BREAKING: Third Mainland Bridge Reopens At 5pm Today

The Lagos State Government has announced that the Third Mainland Bridge, which was temporarily closed for Investigative Maintenance Test, would be reopened by 5 p.m. today.

The Lagos State Government has announced that the Third Mainland Bridge, which was temporarily closed for Investigative Maintenance Test, would be reopened by 5 p.m. on Sunday.

According to a statement by Dr Taiwo Salaam, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, "the decision to reopen the bridge earlier than announced followed the completion of the test by engineers".

The Government thanked motorists and residents for their cooperation and patience, while the bridge was closed.

The bridge was temporarily closed at midnight last Thursday for the test, which was initially scheduled to last till Sunday midnight.
