A judge with the Federal High Court, Idrissa Saleh, has been declared missing after failing to return home since Saturday, according to a report by PUNCH.

Family members of the judge reported the incident to the police after Saleh failed to come back after allegedly discharging himself from a hospital at the Central Business District, Abuja.

A family member said the judge left the hospital where he was being treated for an undisclosed ailment without informing the management.

He said, “Justice Saleh was admitted in the hospital and he left in a taxi without disclosing his whereabouts to anyone.

“Even the management of the hospital was not aware of his movement.

“I think he has a problem, which he didn’t share with anyone; but the police are treating it as a case of missing person and they are actively searching for him as we speak.”

Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory, Bala Ciroma, confirmed the incident, noting that an investigation has been launched into the matter.
