Nigerian Troops Repel Boko Haram Insurgents In Yobe State

Nigerians troops in the attack killed at least 13 terrorists, recovered two gun trucks with Dushkha guns and six AK47 rifles.

Nigerian troops have repelled Boko Haram terrorists in Geidam town in Yobe State. 

Residents were reportedly happy when Boko Haram insurgents, who tried to attack their village were resisted by the Nigerian Army on Monday.

SaharaReporters gathered that the terrorists attempted to attack Geidam at about 11:30am on Monday but troops of 159 Battalion in Sector 2 in conjunction with the Air Task Force on Operation LAFIYA DOLE engaged the insurgents in a gun duel.

There was no casualty on the side of the Nigerian troops.
