He was about getting married and had shared his pre-wedding photos when he died.

Abubakar was buried in his hometown in Ungwan Dosa, Kaduna North, Kaduna State on Sunday, February 14.
According to Lindaikejisblog.com, the late Air Force officer’s wife to be got married to his older brother on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Checks by SaharaReporters however identified the older brother as Suleiman Muhammad Ahmad.
Ahmad is said to be a relative of the late Abubakar.
