In the data, the National Assembly library building will consume N5billion and the lawmakers are billed to spend N1billion on Constitution Review.

Recall that SaharaReporters had published last week how President Muhammadu Buhari lamented some worrisome changes made by the National Assembly on 2022 Budget he signed into law.

Buhari mentioned N36.59billion was included by the extravagant lawmakers for their projects in the Service Wide Vote.

The President had said, "It is in this regard that I must express my reservations about many of the changes that the national assembly has made to the 2022 executive budget proposal.

"Some of the worrisome changes are as follows: Inclusion of new provisions totalling N36.59 billion for National Assembly’s projects in the Service Wide Vote which negates the principles of separation of Powers and financial autonomy of the legislative arm of government."
