Terrorists Kill Retired Police Officer’s Son, Two Others, Abduct 20 In Fresh Attack On Kaduna Communities

Confirming the incident in Kaduna on Friday, a resident, Mr. Benjamin Yunanah said the bandits had a field day terrorising the residents of the area.

Terrorists on Thursday night, stormed two communities, Ungwar Bulus and Ungwar Gwari in the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing a retired police officer’s son, Lewis Elkanah and two others.

According to DAILY POST, the bandits also kidnapped the father of the deceased person, retired police officer, Elkanah, alongside 20 other people in Ungwar Bulus.

Confirming the incident in Kaduna on Friday, a resident, Mr. Benjamin Yunanah said the bandits had a field day terrorising the residents of the area.

He called on the security agents to urgently rescue the kidnapped victims.

Bandits have been terrorising residents of Kaduna state for months. They recently launched an attack on the Kagoro community, killing over 30 persons, burning houses, kidnapping scores of people. 

They attacked Giwa Local Government Area of the state, attacked nine villages, killed over 50, burnt houses, a church and kidnapped scores of residents.

Less than 24 hours later, they unleashed mayhem at Kaduna International Airport, killed a security guard, and delayed aircraft from taking off. And on Monday night, they attacked an Abuja-Kaduna train with over 300 passengers on board.
