A Nigerian HR and business consulting company, BridgeGap on Tuesday launched an innovative software application, named 56 Bridge, to promote access to employment opportunities in the labour market.
Mosunmola Obembe, Director of Operations for BridgeGap Consults Limited, the parent company of 56 Bridge, stated during the launch that the app is an end-to-end recruitment platform that is cost and time effective.
According to her, candidates' shortlisting and interview processes are re-defined for better talent addition to organisations.
She said, "With 56 Bridge, employers of labour can easily shortlist candidates, schedule interviews, review and rate candidate’s interview responses as well as conduct employment tests while generating a comprehensive recruitment report. On the other hand, candidates can also create profiles, download resumes and take interviews."
Chiedozie J. Egbe, Director, Marketing & Business Development at BridgeGap Consults Limited, introduced 56 Bridge's distinctive features to businesses and job seekers.
The features include job postings, which let businesses advertise open positions for potential candidates, employment tests, in which hiring managers create exams for candidates, and video interviews, in which candidates can participate from any location.
Other features of the app include Candidate Ratings, which allow for the scoring of candidates on the go; Video Library, Analytics Reports and SMS/Email Interview Invites.
Egbe explained that applicants using the app also stand to enjoy a number of benefits including profile and automatic CV creation, job applications, video interview and recording of such interviews and interview notifications. “The app allows applicants to save jobs which they are interested in and apply later,” he noted.
Users will be able to access the App from September 5, 2022, and can do so by visiting the website www.56bridge.com, the Apple Store, or the Android Play Store.
