BREAKING: Labour Party’s Peter Obi Defeats Bola Tinubu In Lagos

He defeated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate after the votes were calculated from all the 20 LGAs in the state.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Oni has won the presidential election in Lagos state.

 

He defeated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate after the votes were calculated from all the 20 LGAs in the state.

 

Tinubu is a former Lagos governor and the state is historically his stronghold.

 

Obi polled 582,354 votes while Tinubu got 572,606 votes.

 

The other two front-runners in the election – Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Rabiu Kwawanso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) had 75 750 and 8442 votes respectively.
