Court Adjourns Bail Application Of Remanded ‘Isese’ Activist, Tani Olohun To September 19

SaharaReporters reports that the court which sat in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, made the adjournment on Tuesday. 

A Chief Magistrate Court in Kwara State has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by Adegbola Abdulazeez, an Isese (traditional religion) practitioner and activist, also known as Tani Olohun till September 19, 2023.

SaharaReporters reports that the court which sat in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, made the adjournment on Tuesday. 

Recall that Demola Solesi, a counsel to the Isese (traditional religion) practitioner earlier told

SaharaReporters that bail application hearing was scheduled for today (Tuesday).

SaharaReporters had also reported how an Upper Area Court in Kwara State adjourned the hearing of a preliminary objection application filed by Tani Olohun.

Some personnel of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies had also been stationed around the Chief Magistrate Court in Kwara State on Monday morning to beef up security ahead of the trial of Olohun.

Human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, had also revealed how the Nigerian police personnel arrested Tani Olohun with a fake warrant.
