A human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has charged the Nigeria Police Force to make the result of the autopsy carried out on the body of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, available to the general public.

This was stated by the legal practitioner in a brief release on Thursday night, just after the police revealed that they had completed the autopsy on MohBad’s body and were awaiting the results.

He said, “Police investigation and autopsy report must be made public. It is very pertinent there is full disclosure not selective disclosure. Let us see the investigative report.

“Let us insist on two things, the Police investigation and autopsy report and we are not going to accept summary.”

SaharaReporters earlier reported that the Police announced tthe exhumation of Mohbad’s body.

It was also reported that the nurse who treated the late singer and reportedly gave him an injection before his death had been arrested as well.

A police source told SaharaReporters investigators had established that the musician was beaten by the same people who always threatened and harangued him, after a show he had in Ikorodu.

He was said to have sustained injuries following the beating, leading him to seek the services of a nurse at home. It was learnt that Mohbad started convulsing after being given injections, one of which was said to be an anti-tetanus shot.

A tetanus shot is a toxoid vaccine that prevents tetanus, a life-threatening bacterial infection.
